Sierra Phillips

Sierra Phillips is a reporter for WAAY.

Title: Reporter

Sierra’s interest in television news began in high school. She says having the chance to shadow an investigative reporter at a station in her hometown of Nashville was a defining moment.
Sierra left the Music City to study Broadcast Journalism and Political Science at Penn State. During college, she interned at NBC Washington and FOX 17 in Nashville. She also served in multiple roles for the Penn State newscast Centre County Report.
Sierra and her dog, Penny (named for Penn State) love calling Huntsville home!
