Lincoln County, TN officials discuss coronavirus impact

A news conference was held Monday afternoon in Lincoln County, Tennessee about the coronavirus’ impact on the community.

UPDATE: The county says it will be giving updates regularly.

County offices will remain open, but the Lincoln County Commission meeting for Tuesday will be postponed.

The Donaldson Care Center says there is no visitation, and there are extreme measures in place. They are monitoring the situation.

Lincoln County Schools will be closed through April 3. All school activities will be canceled.

All in-person court sessions have been suspended through March 31 with exceptions for criminal and civil trials.

Local and state courts are open and will remain open in Tennessee.
