Decatur Morgan Hospital urges public to take coronavirus outbreak seriously

Officials with the City of Decatur, Decatur City Schools and Decatur Morgan Hospital held a news conference Friday about coronavirus in the area.

UPDATE: Decatur Morgan Hospital expressed its concerns about the virus spreading. People are urged to take this outbreak seriously.

The hospital has had 50 negative results, and five positives. Two of the patients to test positive are hospitalized.

Two hospital employees have been tested. Their results both came back negative.

There were 34 patients tested at the Hartselle drive-thru clinic. These tests have all come back negative so far.
