A University of North Alabama football player is off the team after his arrest earlier this week.
Khadedryck Todd, 23, was arrested Monday after a fight at a Chevron station that critically injured another man.
Todd, who's from Hattiesburg, Miss., was an offensive lineman during the 2017 football season. He transferred from Jones Community College in Mississippi.
UNA released a brief statement saying Todd was no longer part of the team.
"Our staff was notified by local law enforcement on Tuesday morning of an incident involving Khadedryck Todd," the statement read. "We have permanently removed Todd from our football program."
The victim's condition wasn't immediately available Thursday afternoon.
Todd was released from the Lauderdale County Detention Center Wednesday evening on $50,000 bond.
