A Friday morning house fire in West Huntsville left two people without a place to stay.

The fire happened at a home on Rime Village Drive around 5:30 a.m.

Firefighters said two people in the home were able to get out without being hurt.

Two bedrooms and a bathroom had fire damage, firefighters said, and there was heavy smoke damage on the west side of the home. Firefighters said it appeared to start in the back part of the house.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
