A man is in jail after the Madison County Sheriff’s Office says he stole drugs and a vehicle from a pharmacy.
Trevor Tate Jr. Is charged with two counts of robbery and one count of theft of property. He is in the Madison County Jail with a $150,000 bond.
The office says deputies responded to reported robbery at Sure Save Pharmacy on Hwy. 53 in Harvest on Monday.
They were told a man, now identified as Tate, came inside and demanded drugs. The office said Tate jumped over the counter and took a bag of narcotics and the keys to an employee’s vehicle.
The vehicle was later spotted at Pulaski Pike and Ready Section Road. Deputies said Tate and another man then ran away from the vehicle and later were caught.
Investigators determined only Tate was involved with the robbery, the office said, so only he was charged.
The Huntsville Police Department assisted in the operation.
