Huntsville police are investigating after a 13-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to his upper body about 7:15 p.m. Friday in a home in the 3,500 block of Spann Street.
Lt. Michael Johnson, police spokesman, described the shooting as possibly accidental. He said adults were around at the time of the incident.
Huntsville Emergency Medical Services said the teen was taken to Huntsville Hospital in critical condition.
