Huntsville police are investigating a shooting call in south Huntsville.
Police were called to 4034 Hunters Ridge Dr. Apt 5. at 11:40 a.m. but the victim left before officers arrived.
A short time after responding to the apartments, police said a shooting victim turned up in north Huntsville with an injury. He is currently in surgery.
Officers told WAAY 31, a female said she shot her roommate's boyfriend and she is currently being interviewed.
The investigation is ongoing.
