One person was shot in a northeast Huntsville apartment complex Monday.
The shooting Started in the Westlake Apartments off Sparkman Drive and ending with a police pursuit on Meadow Drive near Union Drive.

Huntsville police were called to Westlake apartments on Sparkman Drive around 6P. Investigators told WAAY 31 one person was shot multiple times in the complex parking lot. That victim was then placed inside of a car by a friend, to be taken to the hospital, but when police pursued the vehicle, the person driving fled on foot.
The driver was eventually caught and is now being questioned.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and he is expected to be ok.
The shooting is under investigation. Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to contact HPD.
