After a truck crashed into a house on Oster Drive early Thursday morning, neighbors want to see a change made.
Paul Bolinsky has lived in the neighborhood for 10 years and always sees someone racing down the street.
"Almost every day," Bolinsky said. "Especially the younger drivers on motorcycles and pickup trucks."
Bolinsky wants to see changes made.
"Something has to be done, I'm hoping maybe they can put another set of speed bumps," Bolinsky said.
The Huntsville Traffic Engineering Department told WAAY31 anyone can file a request online if they believe a residential area may be unsafe. Some neighbors like Diedra Willis may consider doing just that.
"We could control the flow of the traffic," Willis said. "...this is just a health hazard and we really need more help."
Bolinsky just wants to make sure something like Thursday's wreck never happens again.
"I'm afraid that one day maybe it may be my house or, you know, could be a fatality or something like that."
The Huntsville Traffic Engineering Department tells WAAY31 so far there have been no requests filed for Oster Drive.
