The identity of the victim has not been released.
A man is dead after being hit by a vehicle while crossing a road in West Huntsville.
It happened off Carmichael Avenue near Pulaski Pike just after 6 p.m. Saturday.
Don Webster with HEMSI said the victim was taken to Huntsville Hospital where he died shortly after arriving. Webster added the driver is cooperating with investigators.
