A man is charged for causing a crash in Florence while under the influence of alcohol.
Luis Gomez was arrested on Friday for charges of DUI and assault second degree. Florence police say he caused a crash Friday night at Florence Boulevard and Hough Road.
Police say a passenger in his vehicle was seriously injured. The department said Monday morning that the status of the passenger is unknown at this time.
