There were no serious injuries.
The Huntsville Police Department has arrested a man and charged him with arson in connection with an apartment complex fire.
Brian Lamont Douglas, 38, is accused of setting fire to his apartment in the 4,100 block of Newson Raod on Aug 16, said Lt. Michael Johnson, police spokesman.
Johnson said the fire caused damage to eight apartment units, several of which were occupied at the time.
There were no serious injuries.
