Madison Police are investigating a deadly shooting in the 4500 block of Wall Triana Highway.
Officers responded to the store at 4:02 p.m. to a shooting call.

The victim in his mid-20s was transported to the hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced dead, according to Dea Calce, the chief operating officer for Huntsville Emergency Medical Services Inc. (HEMSI).
Lt. Lamar Anderson sent out an alert around 5:30 p.m. asking the public to avoid the area while they process the scene. He added that the Kroger is not closed and that there is no danger to the public.
At this time, officers do not have anyone in custody for the shooting and have not yet released the name of the victim. The said they are searching for a male person of interest in the case and asked anyone with information to call Madison Police at 256-722-7190 or 256-722-5689.
