Two local beauty supply stores are stepping up to help the community with a school supply drive.
Starting on Thursday, July 19th Solid Gold Beauty Supply located at 1611 Pulaski Pike in Huntsville will host a backpack giveaway.
The giveaway will last through Saturday during the store's normal business hours.
The Weave Spot located at the 4820 University Drive will be accepting school supply donations all week long ahead of the backpack giveaway on Sunday, July 22nd from noon to sunset.
The event will be held at Maplewood Park located at 4943 N Memorial Parkway in Huntsville.
The giveaway/ community party will include a school supply giveaway, prizes, games, face painting, food, drinks and more.
