The Huntsville Fire Marshal confirmed a home on Boswell Drive was damaged in an early morning fire.
Daniel Wilkerson said the call came in just before 1 a.m.
No one was hurt, but one person was displaced.
Wilkerson said the damage was limited to the attic, but there is major damage to the home's roof.
At this point, it's not clear what the cause was. Officials say the fire appeared to start around heating equipment, but they have not made a final determination.
