Two men are being treated at Huntsville Hospital after Huntsville police said they were shot Saturday night in separate incidents.
Just before 8 p.m., Huntsville police said a man was shot at the Villa Madrid Apartments on Cobb Road near Drake Avenue.
According to Huntsville Emergency Medical Services Inc. (HEMSI) Spokesman Don Webster, that victim drove to Crestwood Hospital in a private vehicle and was determined by medical staff to be in critical condition.
HEMSI then transported him to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services. Huntsville police said as of Sunday evening, he was still in critical condition.
Then around 8:15 p.m., another man called 911 from his cell phone and said he had been shot. Police and paramedics met him at his vehicle near the intersection of Pulaski Pike and Sparkman Drive.
The victim was transported with non-life-threatening injuries to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services.
Officers said the shooting happened at another location. Investigators said the victim was not being cooperative with them and have not yet been able to determine the location of the original shooting.
As of Sunday night, no arrests had been made in either shooting investigation.
