Lawrence County authorities say a Hatton High School student is charged with making a terroristic threat following a Friday afternoon incident on campus.

Authorities say Brennon Heath Johnson, 19, of Mt. Hope threatened to harm students following an argument with his girlfriend where he became upset.

While authorities are not releasing many details at this time, they do say that Johnson did not have the capability to carry out the attack he was alleging to do.

No attack occurred and no students were hurt as a result of this incident.

Deputies arrested Johnson without incident, and he was booked in the Lawrence County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

The Lawrence County Board of Education is expected to hold a disciplinary hearing Monday to discuss Johnson's future at the school system.
