People in Guntersville are filled with mixed emotions and react to the arrest of Jimmy O'Neal Spencer, the man accused of murdering now three people on Mulberry Street.
Spencer, the accused killer, is now behind bars and while many Guntersville residents did not want to share their feelings, one man didn't hold back.
"I wouldnt hesitate to hang him in his own cell and pat him on the back while he's smothering to death or choking to death," Thomas Lynn-Martin said of Spencer as mixed emotions flow through him.
"Why would it happen in a little small town like this?" Lynn-Martin said.
The 52-year old Spencer was charged with four counts of capital murder after being linked to the deaths of three people in a Guntersville neighborhood. The Guntersville Police Department is more than confident in the arrest.
"We've got the right guy, I'll tell you that professionally, personally, through the grace of god, we got the right guy," Chief of Police Jim Peterson said.
Lynn-Martin just wishes he could speak to the victims.
"I would tell them they'll be missed very much so," Lynn- Martin said. "But they'll be no more tears in heaven for them."
Investigators are still looking to determine what the motive to the crime was.
