UPDATE at 7:14 p.m.: The City of Athens said the Lindsay Lane closure from the round-a-bout to Pepper Road will be up to four more hours. Homeowners are still allowed to get to their homes.
Repairs are being made to a gas tap.

The City of Athens says crews are responding to a gas leak Monday around 4:30 p.m.
Lindsay Lane between Yorkshire and Pepper is closed.
The city said it could be closed until 8 p.m. Monday. It says crews are working to close off the leak, and there is no need for evacuations at this time.
