Athens police are investigating an armed robbery that happened Tuesday night.
A Decatur man was robbed at gunpoint while sitting in his car in a parking lot on Southwind Drive.
Police say the suspect took cash from the victim and then ran away.
The investigation is ongoing, and detectives say they're following leads.
